How to record signatures, photos, and delivery details at each stop
Overview
Proof of delivery (POD) confirms that goods were delivered or picked up as expected. Proper POD helps your company bill accurately, resolve disputes, and improve customer service.
POD Types You May Use

Electronic signature from the consignee

Photos of freight, BOLs, or dock conditions

Name and time of the receiving person

Accessorial tags (e.g., liftgate, inside delivery)
Capturing POD in the Maven Driver App

Open the Active Stop
-
From Next Stop or Route List / Trip Workflow, open the stop you are working on.

Open the POD or Capture Info Section

Look for buttons like:

Capture Info
-
Proof of Delivery
-
POD / Sign
-

Tap to open the POD workflow.

Collect the Recipient’s Information
-
Enter the recipient’s name.
-
Confirm the date and time (usually filled automatically by the app).

Capture Signature
-
Hand the device to the recipient and ask them to sign on the screen.

Confirm the signature is clear and legible.
-
Tap Save or Done.
-

Add Photos (if applicable)
-
Tap Add Photo or camera icon.

Take clear pictures of:

Delivered freight as staged.
-
BOL or paperwork.
-
Any damages or exceptions.
-

Confirm each photo uploads or attaches successfully.

Apply Accessorials (if required)
-
Select any extra services performed (e.g., Liftgate, Inside Delivery, Wait Time).

These may impact billing and driver pay, so accuracy matters.

Save and Complete Stop
-
Ensure all required POD fields are complete.
-
Return to the stop screen and tap Complete Stop.

Tips
-
Politely confirm with the customer that their name and signature will be used for delivery confirmation.

Take additional photos whenever there’s any question about condition, quantities, or access.

Never reuse a previous customer’s signature or info.
