Connect and disconnect a vehicle in the mobile app

Start and end a vehicle session in the app

Overview

A vehicle session begins when a driver logs in to the Maven Driver App and connects to a truck equipped with an adapter. This connection enables automatic driving detection, mileage capture, and ELD compliance.

Connect to a vehicle

  1. Ensure the truck has a working Maven adapter installed.

  2. Open the mobile app and sign in.

  3. Tap the truck icon at the top of the screen.

  4. Use the connection options:

    • Search all vehicles – Find in-range trucks/adapters.

    • Suggested vehicles – Quickly reconnect to previously used vehicles.

    • All vehicles – View the full list of available vehicles in range.

  5. Tap the correct vehicle to connect.

  6. Confirm connection:

    • A green checkmark appears on the truck icon, along with the truck number, when connected.

Active sessions can be viewed in the Vehicles page of the fleet portal.

Disconnect from a vehicle

  1. In the app, tap the truck icon.

  2. Tap Leave vehicle (blue button).

  3. Confirm if prompted.

This ends the current vehicle session and stops automatic data capture for that truck.
