Connecting to a Trailer

Overview

This article explains how a driver selects and connects to the correct trailer using the Equipment page in the Maven Driver App before starting a route.

Prerequisites

• Driver is signed in to the Maven Driver App

• Assigned vehicle is already checked out on the Equipment page (if required by your workflow)

• Trailer has been dispatched or is available to assign

Steps: Connect to a Trailer

From the Equipment page in the app:

1. Open the Equipment page

   • This page is often shown automatically when starting a P&D or Linehaul route.

2. Confirm the vehicle is checked out

   • The assigned truck should be listed and shown in green.

   • If the vehicle is not checked out, select it before connecting a trailer (per your company process).

3. Add or connect a trailer:

   • Tap Select Trailer.

   • Search for the trailer number using the search field.

   • Select the correct trailer from the results list.

4. Confirm trailer checkout:

   • The selected trailer should now appear in the checked‑out assets list.

   • Checked‑out assets appear in green.

   • Returned assets appear in grey.

Truck and trailer are shown as checked out in green.
