Edit past log events in the mobile app

Correct past duty status entries on the road

Overview

Drivers can edit past log events directly in the mobile app. This helps correct status entries quickly. Current status and drive time typically require manager edits in the fleet portal.

Note: Driver editing may be disabled for some fleets based on company configuration.

Step 1: Open the log

  1. From the main screen, scroll below the HOS timers.

  2. Tap Logs (next to Action items).

  3. Select the day to edit.

Step 2: Review events

Below the log chart:

  • Review the list of status changes (Off Duty, Sleeper, On Duty, Drive).

  • Each entry displays duration, notes, and a blue Edit button (when editing is allowed).

Step 3: Edit a past event

  1. Tap Edit next to the event to change.

  2. Select the new duty status (for example, change On duty to Off duty).

  3. Adjust the start and end time if needed.

  4. Add or update notes if required.

  5. Tap Save (top-right).


Restrictions:

  • The current status cannot be edited in the app.

  • New drive time cannot be added by the driver.

  • Manager or admin edits in the fleet portal are required for those changes.
