Fix the “Oops, Something Went Wrong” login error
How to restore connection and log back into the Maven app
Overview
The “Oops, Something Went Wrong” message during Maven app login usually indicates a weak or missing internet connection. Use this guide to check connectivity, turn off airplane mode, and restart the tablet.
Follow the steps below in order, then try logging in again.
Step 1: Check internet connection
-
Check the status bar at the top of the tablet screen.
-
Confirm that a Wi‑Fi icon or cellular signal bars appear.
-
-
If no Wi‑Fi or signal bars appear, or signal is very weak:
-
Move to a location with a better cellular signal, or
-
Connect to a strong, reliable Wi‑Fi network.
-
-
If connected to Wi‑Fi but it seems slow or unstable:
-
Turn Wi‑Fi OFF and use cellular data, or
-
Switch to another available Wi‑Fi network.
-
If the error persists, continue to Step 2.
Step 2: Turn off airplane mode
-
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Quick Settings.
-
Locate the airplane icon.
-
If the airplane icon is colored/active, airplane mode is ON and blocking network connections.
-
Tap the airplane icon so it turns gray (OFF).
After airplane mode is off and Wi‑Fi or cellular signal appears, try logging in again. If the error still appears, go to Step 3.
Step 3: Restart the tablet
-
Press and hold the power button on the tablet.
-
When the menu appears, tap Power off.
-
Wait at least 5 seconds.
-
Press and hold the power button again to turn the tablet back on.
-
After the tablet restarts and reconnects to the network, open the Maven app and attempt login again.
