Update a User’s Time Zone in the Fleet Portal
How to change a driver’s time zone without disrupting HOS logs
Overview
Use this article to update a driver’s time zone in the Maven Fleet Portal. Time zone settings affect how HOS logs and times display for that user.
For the cleanest log history, perform time zone changes while the driver is on a 34‑hour reset, but it is possible to update the time zone at any time.
Steps to update a user’s time zone

Log in to the Fleet Portal

Sign in with a fleet admin account.

Open Fleet Administration

Go to the Fleet Administration page from the main navigation.

Go to Users and find the driver

In Fleet Administration, select Users.

Make sure the Active users list is selected.

Use the search bar to find the driver’s name and open their user record.

Open the user profile
-
Click the driver’s name to open their user page.

Change the time zone

Scroll to the bottom of the user page to find the Time Zone field.

Click the Time Zone dropdown.

Select the correct time zone for the driver from the list.

Save the update

Click Save in the top-right corner of the page to apply the change.

Time zone can be changed at any time if necessary (for example, when a driver permanently moves to a new region or gets assigned to a different terminal).

After saving, verify with the driver that new logs show in the expected local time and that they understand the time zone now applied to their account.
