What this product does

Maven Fleet gives operations and safety teams a live, digital view of trucks, drivers, and assets so they can stay compliant, monitor safety, and understand where equipment is and what it’s doing in real time.

Fleet serves as the system of record for drivers, vehicles, trailers, and assets, and aggregates telematics and activity data from connected systems.

Who uses it

  • Fleet / terminal managers: see where units are and how they’re being used

  • Safety & compliance teams: review safety events and compliance posture

  • Operations leaders: monitor performance and utilization

  • Admins: manage driver, vehicle, trailer, and asset records

Where it fits in the workflow

  • Drivers, vehicles, trailers, devices, and assets are created and maintained in Maven Fleet

  • As drivers work (via the Maven Driver App and Maven ELD), Fleet ingests telematics and status data

  • Operations and safety teams use Fleet to:

    • View current location, movement, and asset status

    • Monitor safety and compliance indicators

    • Treat Fleet as the source of truth for drivers and equipment

Key concepts & terminology 

  • Asset / Vehicle – tractor, straight truck, trailer, or other equipment

  • Driver – person record for anyone operating a vehicle or route

  • Digital twin – real-time digital representation of trucks, drivers, and movements

  • Telematics – GPS, speed, engine, and device data from onboard hardware

  • Safety / critical events – harsh braking, speeding, risky driving, etc.

  • Geofence – virtual boundary around a site such as a terminal, yard, or customer location

What this product does NOT do

Maven Fleet does not:

  • Plan or optimize routes – that is Maven Dispatch & Planning and Maven Inbound

  • Provide the driver’s day-to-day execution workflow – that is the Maven Driver App

  • Replace your TMS for rating, billing, or order lifecycle management

  • Own dock execution workflows – that is Maven Dock

  • Act as a full BI or analytics platform (it includes reports and dashboards, but not full ad-hoc analytics)
